  • What is Flying Blue reinvented?
    Would you like to know more about the updates in the Flying Blue programme? As of 1 April 2018, the Flying Blue programme will become better, easier and more flexible than ever before. The updates are aimed at making things less complicated and more rewarding for you. They include:
    • A new earning scheme, consisting of “XP” (Experience Points) and “Miles”.
    • XP determine your membership level.* You gain a fixed number of XP per flight, based on your flight type and cabin class.
    • Miles are the currency of our programme and can be spent on tickets and extra options. You can earn Miles on all eligible AIR FRANCE, KLM, JOON and HOP! marketed flights based on the amount you spend (on your ticket and extra options) and your level within our programme.
    • All seats on board AIR FRANCE, KLM, JOON, HOP! and Transavia flights will be bookable with Miles. (Note: planned to be implemented in June 2018.)
    • NEW! Miles & Cash will allow you to pay up to 25% of your reward ticket in cash. (Note: planned to be implemented in June 2018.)

  • How can I request a new Flying Blue card?
    If you have lost your Flying Blue membership card and are an Elite or Elite Plus member, you can request a new card online. You’ll receive your new Flying Blue card within 5 weeks. Ivory members can’t request a new plastic membership card.

    While you wait for your card to arrive, you can log in to your account to print a copy of your card. This print option is also available to Ivory members.

    All Flying Blue members can find their Flying Blue card number in the free AIR FRANCE and KLM apps. Both apps can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

  • How can I get a virtual Flying Blue card?
    Flying Blue members with an Apple mobile device can download their virtual Flying Blue card through Apple Wallet. This way you’ll always have your Flying Blue card to hand, even when there’s no Internet connection available.

    To do this, simply log in to flyingblue.com on your Apple mobile device and from the Dashboard download the virtual Flying Blue card to the Wallet app.

    You’ll be upgraded to the next level as soon as you’ve reached the required number of Level Miles and/or qualifying flights.

  • What happens if I lose my Elite status due to maternity leave?
    If you’ve lost your Elite or Elite Plus membership level due to maternity leave, Flying Blue now allows you to maintain your original level. If you want to benefit from this personal offer, please send us a medical certificate and we’ll look into it. You can submit 1 request per maternity leave and only after you’ve lost your membership level.

  • What is Flying Blue Jeune?
    If you’re between 2 and 24 years old and live in France, one of its overseas departments or territories, Algeria, Morocco or Tunisia, you’re eligible for Flying Blue Jeune membership. You can earn Award Miles and spend them on flights and in the Flying Blue Store. And you can also enjoy exclusive discounts and offers for younger travellers.

  • What are the benefits for Ivory members regarding baggage?
    Ivory members receive up to €10 discount on the first piece of paid check-in baggage when travelling on flights operated and marketed by AIR FRANCE, KLM and HOP! worldwide. You will receive €5 discount for one-way flights within France and for one-way flights in Europe when the baggage fee is ≤ €20. In all other cases the €10 discount applies. When you purchase a first piece of paid check-in baggage as of 7 December 2017 and travel on/after 10 April 2018 between Europe and USA, Canada or Mexico a discount of either EUR 10, USD 10, or CAD 15, as relevant, also applies. Use your booking details to benefit from the discount by arranging your additional baggage in advance on airfrance.com, klm.com and hop.com.
